I have always lived my life in the creative realm. I'm an artist, a writer, photographer, a film critic and a stand up comic. All these things have one thing in common; they are a tough way to feed a family. The one thread through my entire life has been a job as a waiter. It has kept food on the table, the lights on, the water flowing (and more recently, the WiFi streaming) for my wife and kids for over 30 years now.
I have made every mistake known to the restaurant industry; but I've also learned so much. A positive approach and a few simple philosophies have brought me to the point where I earn more tips than my peers, on any day, from any station, in any restaurant. I've spent decades working very hard to make my job seem effortless. That effort has paid off figuratively and literally. I'm ready to accelerate the learning curve for anybody willing to listen.
